We adore fishing in the crystal-clear lakes, hiking through pine-scented trails, and cherishing time with our three grown children and eight lively grandchildren. The White Mountains have captured our hearts for years—the cool air, towering ponderosa pines, and endless opportunities for adventure make it our favorite escape from the Phoenix heat. In early 2025, we set out to find the ideal mountain retreat in Show Low, a town we’ve loved for so long. While we saw many lovely properties, none fully captured the blend of quality, comfort, and modern conveniences we envisioned. So, we chose a beautiful lot in the serene Show Low Bluff community, perched atop a scenic piece of land with sweeping views, and partnered with a talented local custom builder to bring Bluff Retreat to life.
