Welcome to your mountain home!
We’ve stocked Bluff Retreat with everything you need for a comfortable, convenient stay. Below you’ll find simple instructions for all the appliances. Feel free to use them like your own — we just want you to relax and enjoy every moment!
The smart thermostat is mounted on the wall between the kitchen and laundry room. It controls the reliable gas furnace (for cozy heat) and central air conditioning. The screen is very intuitive — just tap to adjust the temperature.
Enjoy the cozy gas fireplace in the great room! The remote control is mounted on the wall just to the right of the fireplace. Simply point and click — it’s that easy.
Both the great room and primary bedroom have large smart TVs. We’ve enabled Guest Mode on Roku, so you can safely log into your own Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. accounts without changing any of our settings.
Quick Tip: Use the Roku Voice Remote (the only remote you need). Just speak or navigate as usual.
Located in the closet of the primary bedroom (bolted securely).
Brew a full pot or single-serve pods — even iced coffee! It has a large 60-oz water reservoir and comes with a glass carafe, pod adapter, and scoop. Easy and delicious every time.
Our freestanding gas range has sealed burners and simple electronic controls — perfect for everything from pancakes to full dinners.
1,000-watt microwave with helpful preset buttons (Reheat, Popcorn, Potato, Defrost, etc.). Use the vent fan and light as needed.
This versatile countertop oven does it all — Air Fry, Toast, Bake, Broil, Pizza, and more. Great for quick meals or crispy fries!
Scrape off large food bits (no pre-rinsing needed). Place delicate items and plastics on the top rack. Use the Quick cycle for smaller loads to save time and energy.
Swivel base with 6 temperature presets and Keep Warm function. Perfect for tea, instant coffee, or oatmeal.
Makes one deep Belgian waffle at a time. The first one may be lighter — browning improves after a few uses. Great for sweet or savory batters!
Ideal for hands-off meals like chili, pot roast, or pulled pork. Thaw frozen meat first and don’t exceed the 6-quart line.
Follow the water lines inside the pot for perfect rice. Brown rice takes 40–50 minutes. Add extra liquid for porridge or soups.
Cut large pieces small for best results. For smoothies: liquid first, then yogurt, fruit, and ice. If it stalls, turn off, stir, and restart on low.
Energy-efficient and quiet — perfect after a day of hiking or exploring. Cold water washes are great for most loads and save energy.
Located in the laundry room. Use distilled water only. Test on a hidden spot first.
Stored in the garage on the wall rack. Lightweight with multiple attachments — excellent for quick cleanups.
Easy one-touch ignition with windproof glass. A full 20 lb propane tank lasts 3–6+ hours. There’s a spare full tank in the garage. Please label the empty tank so we can refill it.
Located on the rear deck. Features easy Jetfire ignition and a safety auto shut-off timer. Connected to the house gas line — no tanks to worry about. Great for relaxed mountain grilling!
High chair and portable play yard are stored in the great room closet. Kid-friendly cups and dishes are in the lower kitchen drawer.
Folded upright in the garage (easy to wheel out). Paddles and balls are stored right next to it.
Please: No drinks on the table, keep the surface clean and dry, and return paddles/balls to the bin when finished. Have fun playing in the garage!
